Boards, Commissions and Citizen Oversight Committee

The City of Hemet has various Boards, Commissions and the Measure U Citizen Oversight Committee, made up of local residents, that provide input to some of our City departments and activities. Citizens have an opportunity to participate in the implementation of local policies by serving on an advisory board, commission and committee. If you are a resident of the City of Hemet or its sphere of influence and would like to volunteer to be a member of a City Board, Commission or Committee, please complete the Advisory Body Application (PDF). All meetings of the City's Boards and Commissions are open to the public. The City of Hemet welcomes your participation.

The Maddy Act, Government Code 54970, requires that the City of Hemet post the following appointment list on an annual basis by December 31.

The City of Hemet is seeking qualified Applicants for the


(per Hemet City Ordinance 1958)

The Hemet City Council is seeking applications from individuals interested in serving on the Infrastructure Commission. Established by Ordinance No. 1958, this commission is intended to periodically review and provide comments regarding public facilities and works of improvement that are planned by the City, including without limitation, City parks, open space and other recreational or community facilities and City capital improvement. The commission shall have its regular meeting on the last Monday of every other month on odd months at 4:00 p.m. The commission shall consist of five (5) voting members appointed by the City Council.
