Become a Tutor

Come in February 20, 2020 for the next training. Volunteer to change a person’s life. All it takes is 3 hours of your time per week. We provide the training and materials. Call Lea Ashworth at 951-765-3856.

Improve the quality of your Life. We offer one on one Training for free. You must be at least 18 years old, speak English and not enrolled in school.

Make a difference in a neighbor’s life. Be an Adult literacy tutor.

Imagine not being able to read to your children, read a menu at a restaurant, maybe you want to fill out a job application or get a driver’s license. The Hemet Public Library Adult Literacy Department has over 20 adult limited literacy students waiting for someone to help them meet their goals. We provide the training and match you with a learner. Tutor Training will be held in the Library Literacy Center Be sure to pick up an informational packet and schedule a meeting with Lea to review.

GED Math Help

Get the CrowdED Learning APP to study for the math portion of the GED. This app links you to free math tutorial videos provided by the Khan Academy. Download the app from your devices’ app store for free. Want to learn more? check out CrowdED Learning’s website:
