mosquitoes in the Hemet, Murrieta and Temecula areas tested positive for the West Nile Virus (WNV). The County has notified the City of Hemet that on Tuesday, August 26, 2014, County staff will be performing fogging of the City of Hemet Seattle Basin from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. to abate mosquitoes from the channel. The Seattle Basin located north of Seattle Street between West Menlo Avenue and North Cawston Avenue. This basin is regularly inspected and treated for mosquitos by the County.
