I have pictures of Seattle Street completely under water during the winter of 2014.....from what I understand from the neighbors this issue has gone unresolved since the original plan in 1996 and has actually had people on our street flooded with property left unsold due to flood issues at 3999 Seattle. This is unacceptable....tax paying home owners will leave this town if they are not taken care of.
Please help. Pictures are available from 2014....you can not even tell its a street vs a lake.

The community should get together and seek out buildings/properties all over Hemet that have been vacant for more than three years and turn those properties into shelters for the homeless and drug addicts that wander the streets. In these buildings there should be free help for any individual that needs help getting off drugs or alcohol or any subtance abuse, along with an area for them to all be able to bath, eat, get clean cloths, and have a safe place to rest their heads at night. Once they are successfully clean and sober they can move to the next available property where they can be seen by professionals to either teach them life/work skills to direct them back into our community as a productive member of society.

Hemet needs community classes like art, sewing, cake decorating, jewelry, health and things we could do with children in summer.

Online Calendar indicates there are no scheduled or past event for any department of the city. 2 events are on the calendar from Jan-April 2019, this is either a failure to post for public notification of existing govt or community events or city is not conducting any business, & would mean officials are being paid for no work products. Residents are entitled to know what is going on in the city & there needs to be much more community outreach & activities scheduled to engage the public.

I live across from empty fields, we get blasted by wind gusts, and have our back yards eluminated by the lights from the Staters shopping center. Do something with the empty land, wind breaker trees thatd reduce the impact of wind, and block the annoying ultra bright lights. Why not do a little walking path park in the field? People already do it, why not make it functional and aesthetically pleasing. Theres no harm in planting more trees, why does this town hate shade from the sun and clean air? Nor are there adequate side walks around the area, sometimes you have one, sometimes you have to walk in the street and risk getting nailed by speed racer w/ a coffee can exhaust. Speed humps on B.V. would be nice, stop these idiots from drag racing, cause ya know- we just love being woken up by an a.s.s. hat with loud exhaust at all hours. That's just lovely.... y'all flat landers are something else.

Being a parent and also very active within my community I feel that we lack a lot of mentorship things that will not only protect more positive news for kids but to get more involved and our children's life within their schools trying to set more better role models that the children will have to look forward to or look up to to guide them in a better Direction. So if more of our community leaders are able to reach out more or have many more events that could be sponsored locally to maybe help get something going on a more productive positive level it probably would strengthen the growth in some of these children's positiveness in general.
