Anna Banks has been a resident of Hemet since 2009. She desperately needs personal wheelchair transportation preferably a Toyota Sienna. Ms. Banks was born with Down Syndrome and will be 70 in September. She is cared for by her older sister who used to take her everywhere she went until she became blind and bedridden. Please donate a Toyota Sienna Rampvan to this family . Thank you.

May respectfully suggest that the Hemet city website add pages each with the ability for an organization to request they be added.
1> Warming centers
2> Cooling centers
3> Evacuation centers

In addition, I would suggest that the recently remodeled Ramona Event Center be approached for an Evacuation center

Online Calendar indicates there are no scheduled or past event for any department of the city. 2 events are on the calendar from Jan-April 2019, this is either a failure to post for public notification of existing govt or community events or city is not conducting any business, & would mean officials are being paid for no work products. Residents are entitled to know what is going on in the city & there needs to be much more community outreach & activities scheduled to engage the public.
