How long is your screening process and what does it consist of?
Generally speaking, our screening process takes approximately 4-5 months once you are selected to participate. The selection process consists of:
Oral Appraisal Panel
Polygraph Examination
Thorough Background Investigation
Written Psychological Examination
Psychological Interview with Licensed Psychologist
Chief's Interview
Medical Examination (which includes drug/alcohol screening)

Candidates successful in the oral process will be placed on an eligibility list for one (1) year. Prior to appointment, candidates must pass each phase of the selection process in order to be eligible for the position.
