Are vehicles allowed to be parked on the street without moving for extended periods of time?

Vehicles may be parked in any one spot on the street for no more than 72 hours without moving. The vehicle must be operable, currently licenses/registered and parked legally. If a vehicle is found to have not moved or suspected to be inoperable for over 72 hours and is parked on the street, please call the Hemet Police Department to report the location, make, model, color and license plate of the vehicle.
