Coronavirus was announced in February 2020 as a new (novel) illness that spreads easily and rapidly and causes shortness of breath, fever, dry cough, and other common symptoms. The Hemet City Council declared the existence of a local emergency on March 16, 2020 and updates continue to evolve quickly.
