During construction, our City Inspectors provide review services for public and private improvements, grading, parking lots, water and sewer systems, storm drain, bridges, street lights, pedestrian lights, traffic signals, landscape districts, parks, road way, curbs, gutters, sidewalk, and handicap ramps.
Inspectors also keep a watchful eye on work done in the City's rights-of-way by utility companies. This would include utility's traffic control, road closures, trenching, and road repair. Inspectors insure that all work sites comply with stormwater runoff, sediment, and dust control requirements as well as respond to citizen complaints and concerns. Inspectors manage the field operations of the City's Capital Projects as well as facilitate and coordinate the efforts of contractors, utility companies, and City forces during construction of our Capitol Improvement Program and development construction.
