Duties

  • Serve as the Clerk to the City Council and the Measure U Oversight Committee
  • Serves as the Secretary to the Oversight Board of the dissolved Hemet Redevelopment Agency, Housing Authority, Hemet Community Land Trust, Disaster Planning Commission, and assigned Committees
  • Prepare agendas and minutes for the City Council, Measure U Oversight Committee, Oversight Board of the dissolved Hemet Redevelopment Agency, Housing Authority, and assigned Committees
  • Keep records of all formal actions, maintaining the minutes, ordinances, resolutions, contracts, agreements, deeds, etc.
  • Respond to Public Records Requests in accordance with the California Public Records Act. To access more information, select the Public Records Act requests link

  • Serve as the filing officer for the State of California Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) for public transparency. For more information, access the State's FPPC website
  • Serve as the Election Officer for the City's Municipal Elections

  • Compliance officer for federal, state, and local statutes, including the Political Reform Act, the Ralph M. Brown Act, and the California Public Records Act.
