Friends Supporting the Library
Everyone needs a few good friends, even a public library. Since 1962 the Friends of Hemet Public Library have supported the library in developing its facilities, collections, and services. Through library advocacy, special used book sales, sales in their library bookshop, and small fund raising activities, the Friends stimulate greater public support and use of the Library.
Donating Material
The Hemet Friends of the Library accept all donations during the hours of 9 am to 4 pm Wednesday through Saturday. Please do not leave your donations outside the library as the "Good Stuff" is taken before the Friends and Library have an opportunity to accept them. Remember, your donations are tax deductible, so be sure to pick up a form from the Friends. All donations may be placed in the large blue bin in the front of the library, regardless of the day you come by.
For large donations, please contact the Friends so that they may be prepared to help you.
