Establishing Service

To check if your address is served by City of Hemet Water, visit the link below and enter your address in the search bar at the top left corner. Areas shaded on the map are serviced by City of Hemet Water:

If your address falls outside the shaded area, please contact the following water utility companies for further information:

Single-Family Residential Accounts

To start utility service, you need to:

  1. Fill out and sign the Single Family Residential Application
  2. Ensure that both the Primary and Owner or Property Management sections are fully completed.
  3. Present a valid photo ID that matches the name of the primary account holder on the application.
  4. Owners to provide proof of ownership, while tenants need a valid lease or rental agreement. 
  5. A start up fee of $45.00 will be charged on the first bill.
  6. Water Turn-On fee 
    Same Day Water Service:
    Monday – Thursday: $58 if paid before 3 pm
    Monday – Thursday: $146 if paid after 3 pm
    Friday: $146 all day
    Next Business Day Water Service:
    No additional fee
  7. Submit all required documents using the following options:
    • Email: cs@hemetca.gov
    • In Person: 445 E Florida Ave | Hemet, CA 92543 | Monday through Friday between 7:30am - 5:30pm
  8. After the application is reviewed, a deposit may be required to complete the process.
    • For in-person applications, payment will be collected at the cashier.
    • For online applications, a payment link with the required amount will be provided.

Multiple Dwellings and Commercial Accounts

To start utility service, you need to:

  1. Fill out and sign the Multi Dwelling Application or Commercial Business Application.
  2. present a valid photo ID that matches the name of the primary account holder listed on the application. Proof of ownership is still required to complete the process.
  3. A start up fee of $45.00 will be charged on the first bill.
  4. Optional - You can request an authorized agents to handle the account transactions by filling out the Appointment of Agent form. 
  5. Water Turn-On fee 
    Same Day Water Service:
    Monday – Thursday: $58 if paid before 3 pm
    Monday – Thursday: $146 if paid after 3 pm
    Friday: $146 all day
    Next Business Day Water Service:
    No additional fee
  6. Submit all required documents using the following options:
